Graphic Noise (July 28 – October 22, 2005), held at the prestigous Museum of Design in Atlanta (an official affiliate of the of the Washington-based Smithsonian Institution) was an exhibition of contemporary concert posters, featuring pieces from Michael Buchmiller, Jesse LeDoux, Jfry Craig, and many more.

WAR Made Me [do it] is an important postcard book by Canadian artist, Jfry Craig. The images, many of which were originally gig posters, explore the effects of the media’s portrayal of war in western society. Many of the images have toured galleries and museums throughout Canada and the United States.

49 stories was an installation by Jfry Craig at Galeria Regia in the old arts district in Monterrey, Mexico. It opened February 12th, 2007 as part of the annual Canada week celebrations. The installation opened with the attendance of the Monterrey’s Cultural Minister and Mayor in attendance. The installation ran through March.

In exciting news, 49 stories, which just closed in Monterrey, will be packing up and moving to Alberta’s Capital to be appearing as part of the inaugural Stem Cell Festival, put on by Latitude 53, FAVA and Metro Cinema.

In this talk Jfry covered the history of the internet as well as design thoughts and technologies that have become reasonably standardized on the net. From there he explored how these tools can be put to artistic practice on the net.

Jfry Craig’s web project Appul was featured in Persistence of Vision, which is showing as part of the Eastern Edge Video Screening Series, presented in collaboration with The Rooms Provincial Art Gallery in Newfoundland.
