Last Show Before the Trade Deadline

Jazz Stains, CJSW 90.9 FM, Feb 27 2009

Lots of rumours and lots of teams still in the mix. Funny how everyone always wants a big name in a trade. I’d give an arm and a leg for a right handed center who can win a draw and play a little PK; maybe a Dman with some grit and an okay first pass so Theo can go stew some more. My team is the oilers, in case you were curious.

Some days having to play the BBC absolutely kills me. I’m not sure how we agreed to be playing it instead of Canadian content, but it’s horrible. I used to think the BBC was somewhat reputable until I had to listen to it everymorning for the show. It is one of the most biased and agenda driven news broadcasts available and not the kind of drivel I feel comfortable being associated with.

But now onto Jazz. I handle my playlist in the first hour and get into a nice sequence of song birds. Second hour starts with Moe Koffman’s 1967 and the third hour we get a little more hip hop than we’ve been in a few weeks — sweet! I hope you enjoy the show.
