First Show in the New Friday Slot
Jazz Stains, CJSW 90.9 FM, November 7 2008
First show in the new Friday slot, which is fantstic as the 5am morning won’t come in the middle of my week anymore. When you go to sleep at 3am, this show can feel pretty early sometimes and require a nap in the afternoons, which is tough to fit in on a Wednesday afternoon.
So, i feel like i’m part of the weekend now! I mean, there’s probably still people up partying from Thursday night who are listening in right now, so i’m definitely part of the “get the weekend rolling” scene, which is nice.
On the show today, I thought I’d try and give the listeners a really solid feel for what the show will be, standards in the first hour, second hour with some longer tracks and the third hour into more contemporary sounds.
